Quad-ness! :wow: Other than the gift art you drew of my characters, I believe this is the first quad I've seen you do. Here's some tips to get you started on the road to charries who are 90% animal, 10% human. (aka - Animals with expressions and personalities.)

1- Paws do not extend out very far. Only the toes really extend from the leg. If you look at a dog's or cat's paws, you'll see the pad covers the base of the paw, and the toes just stick out from the leg. If you want to see how paws work, my picture of Ghostfang has my best paws. And there are a BUNCH of tutorials out there for them. The best analogy is people walking on tip-toes.

2- Unless you're going for a specifically long-tailed animal, keep in mind that the tails will generally stop at the "ankle". I draw mine long on purpose because I prefer them that way. So that's just a matter of preference; but if you're going for reality, keep the length in mind.

3- The other thing would be the hind legs - they don't bend that way. You have the hip, but the leg bends out from that. (You drew it bending in.) The best example of the way a hind leg bends would be a German Shepherd. They stretch their hind legs out more than most dogs, so you get a good idea of how they bend. (Just keep in mind shepherds are a bit special with the stance, so wolves and other dogs aren't as likely to use it.)

Other than that, you did quite well! =D Great work!
